QUINN has already an important background in MGSE systems in the space market and specifically

QUINN is prime contractor for the provision of Copernicus Polar Ice and Snow Topography Altimeter (CRISTAL) IRIS Transport Container. Final Customer Thales Alenia Space, Cannes, France.

QUINN is currently subcontractor to ADAMANT Composites for the CHIME Spacecraft MGSE SatInteg-1 project for the provision of Hoisting Device systems for structure and satellite as well as for the Thermal vacuum Trolley Interface. Final Customer Thales Alenia Space, Cannes, France.

QUINN supported ALMA Sistemi Srl for the CHIME Instrument MGSE Tilting Trolley as supplier of ALMA Sistemi Srl with final customer OHB System GmbH (2023).

QUINN supported ADAMANT Composites in the ARIEL Structural Model Lifting device project (ARIEL PLM SM project) and ALMA Sistemi Srl for the design and development of the Transport Container with final customer Airbus, Toulouse. (2022).

1. BACKGROUND IN MGSE: IRIS – CRISTAL INSTRUMENT CONTAINER
The trasport container implements:
Lifting interfaces, from schackles on the baseframe.
Forklift interfaces, on the baseframe.
Cover lifting capability (vertically), by schackles on the top of the container, to access the internal baseframe and the satellite’s interface.
Satellite’s interface, with dampers system support, to avoid turbulance distortion.
Stiff Baseframe for the satellite’s interface.
Wheels & Mastermover interface, for handling in the facility.
